Thanks to German Host Nation and local support and the efforts of the US, British and French communities it has been agreed that a commemorative stone would be raised and dedicated to Squadron Leader Bushell and Sous-Lieutenant Scheidhauer on 1 July 2017 near Ramstein Airbase.

As the Senior British Officer at NATO’s Allied Air Command and on behalf of our multinational military community, I cordially invite you to join us at the Bushell/Scheidhauer commemorative stone dedication and unveiling ceremony at 1300 on 1 July 2017, and for refreshments afterwards at approximately 1400 at the Haus des Bürgers, Ramstein. A detailed programme of the afternoon’s events and meeting point will follow shortly.
